Terms of Use

1. Publisher

The App is published by Enzo DE LA PENA, operating as an individual publisher. Contact: contact@slyko.app.

2. Description of the service

Slyko is a video game "bucket list": it lets you track games you own, want to play, or have finished, rate and review them, compare your collection with other players, import your Steam library, and earn experience (XP) as your collection grows.

Game information (titles, cover art, descriptions, platforms) comes from third-party databases, in particular IGDB. Slyko does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this information, which remains the property of its respective rights holders.

3. Minimum age and account creation

Using Slyko on your own requires you to be at least 15 years old. If you are under 15, the App may only be used with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian, who then accepts these Terms on your behalf.

An account is created automatically the first time you open the App (anonymous account), without any personal information being requested at that stage. You can then choose to link this account to your Google or Apple account so you can find it again if you change devices or reinstall the App.

You are responsible for keeping the means of access to your account (in particular your linked Google/Apple account) confidential, and for any activity carried out from it.

4. Content you publish

The App lets you publish certain content: username, profile picture, ratings, written reviews of games ("User Content"). This User Content is visible to other Slyko users, unless stated otherwise in the App.

By publishing User Content, you agree not to:

• publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or that infringes a third party's rights;
• impersonate a third party or publish a third party's personal information without their consent;
• publish content protected by intellectual property rights you don't hold;
• use the App for spam, unsolicited marketing, or unauthorized automation.

You retain your rights to the User Content you publish. By publishing it, you grant Slyko a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content, solely to the extent necessary to operate and promote the Service (for example, when sharing a review).

Every user can report a review or profile they believe violates these Terms, and block another user to stop seeing their content and being seen by them. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that clearly violates these Terms and to suspend or delete the account responsible for a serious or repeated violation, without notice in urgent cases.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, interface, and code are the property of the Publisher and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to these elements, other than the right to use the App as intended.

Video game data (titles, cover art, descriptions, aggregated ratings) shown in the App comes from third-party databases (in particular IGDB) and remains the property of its respective rights holders.

6. Slyko Pro subscription

Slyko offers an optional paid subscription, "Slyko Pro", which unlocks additional features (extended favorites, detailed statistics, featured reviews, XP boost, etc.). The subscription is entirely optional: the Service remains usable for free without it.

The subscription is purchased and managed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) account associated with your device, depending on the platform you use. The price, duration (monthly, annual, or any other duration offered) and exact terms of the offer are shown to you before any purchase.

Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for the same duration, at the then-current price, and the corresponding amount is charged to the payment method linked to your Apple or Google account.

You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from your Apple or Google account settings — never directly from within Slyko, which has no access to that management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; access to Pro features remains available until then.

Purchases and subscriptions are subject to Apple's or Google's terms and refund policy, depending on the platform used — Slyko does not issue refunds directly.

7. Third-party services used by the App

Slyko relies on several technical providers to operate. Details of the data shared with each are in our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• IGDB (Twitch): video game catalog (titles, cover art, descriptions);
• Steam (Valve) Web API: only if you choose to import your Steam library, from your public profile URL;
• Anthropic (Claude model): only when you share a TikTok or YouTube video to Slyko, to automatically identify the game it refers to;
• RevenueCat: technical management of Slyko Pro subscriptions;
• Supabase: hosting for the database and accounts;
• PostHog, AppsFlyer, and Sentry: audience measurement, install attribution, and technical diagnostics (error logs).

Use of these third-party services is subject to their own terms, which the Publisher does not control.

8. Service availability

We use reasonable means to keep the App available and working properly, without guaranteeing continuous or error-free availability. The Service may be suspended, temporarily or permanently, in particular for maintenance or technical changes.

We may change, add, or remove App features at any time, including features previously included in the free tier or in Slyko Pro.

9. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App, nor for the accuracy of video game data from third-party sources, nor for content published by other users.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit the Publisher's liability where French law prohibits it, in particular in cases of gross or intentional misconduct.

10. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time from the App settings. This deletion permanently and irreversibly erases your profile, game library, reviews, and all data associated with your account.

We may suspend or delete your account in the event of a serious or repeated violation of these Terms, after notifying you beforehand where possible.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms at any time, in particular to reflect changes to the App or to applicable regulations. The last-updated date appears at the top of this document. Continuing to use the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable to your situation.
